In the video, Jenna stated, 'Preparing for my Netflix documentary about that one time at El Arroyo when I was 19. IYKYK.' It turns out, this was a misstatement. The first arrest was for a misdemeanor possession of alcohol at an Austin bar, and the second occurred a month later when she and her twin sister, Barbara, were handcuffed for attempting to purchase alcohol with a fake ID at a Mexican restaurant called Chuy's, not El Arroyo.
On the July 15 episode of 'Jenna & Sheinelle', Jenna addressed the mistake live on the Today show. She said, 'I need to set the record straight. On something that was posted on social media yesterday. So on this video right here, I incorrectly stated, with the help of the social media team, that I had a drink at El Arroyo. Now I have had some drinks at El Arroyo, but the drink we will be talking about in the documentary was actually at Chuy's. So I just want to say, I am sorry El Arroyo, you always served me. I'm just kidding!'
